For many people, oatmeal is a good way to start the day. Oatmeal is a common breakfast food and why not. It’s full of fiber which can help you feel full later in the day and it’s a well known healthy grain. The downside is that it is simply, a grain. Although oatmeal provides fiber and some vitamins and minerals, it’s a carbohydrate and not much more. If you are watching your macros, this can set you off balance for the day.
